A clinician-led first step — built for safety, accuracy, and results

TRT should never begin with guesswork. The goal of your first appointment is to establish whether your symptoms and biochemistry are consistent with testosterone deficiency or a broader hormonal/metabolic imbalance — and to map the safest route forward.

Your consultation is led by a qualified medical doctor, not a call-centre or script-based assessor.

Online consultation (15–20 minutes)

All initial consultations are delivered online and typically last 15–20 minutes. They are booked through our secure online app, allowing you to choose an appointment time that fits your schedule.

Consultation fee

The consultation fee is £25. If you proceed with treatment, this £25 is fully refundable against the treatment plan you select.

Why an expert medical consultation matters

Symptoms such as fatigue, low libido, weight gain, low mood, and poor sleep can have multiple causes — including thyroid dysfunction, insulin resistance, sleep disorders, medication effects, elevated stress hormones, or nutritional deficiencies. A medical consultation ensures the correct diagnosis is considered and that any treatment decision is clinically appropriate.

Your consultation is led by Dr Ferenc Kovari (MD, FAABRM), whose background includes consultant-level experience in anaesthetics and critical care. This level of training supports a high standard of medical oversight, careful risk assessment, and structured monitoring.

What we review during your consultation

  • Your symptoms, time course, and severity
  • Medical history, medications, fertility considerations, and relevant family history
  • Lifestyle factors that influence hormones (sleep, stress load, training, alcohol, nutrition)
  • Any available blood results and what they mean in context
  • Whether TRT is appropriate — and if not, what else should be addressed first
  • A clear next-step plan: testing, treatment options (if suitable), and monitoring

Diagnostics: blood testing + the option of the Metabolic Code® assessment

Blood testing is essential. It allows us to assess testosterone in context and to check key safety and health markers before any prescription is considered.

Why we recommend the Metabolic Code® (paid add-on)

For men with overlapping symptoms or complex health goals, we also offer the Metabolic Code® assessment — an additional, payable diagnostic service that provides a structured ‘systems’ interpretation of your lab data alongside lifestyle inputs.

Rather than looking at single numbers in isolation, Metabolic Code® organises findings into interconnected ‘Triads’ (for example, adrenal–thyroid–pancreas and gut–immune–brain). This helps clarify which underlying systems may be driving fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, poor recovery, or hormonal disruption — and supports a more precise, personalised plan.

  • A clear, easy-to-understand report based on your data
  • Prioritised focus areas to address first (so you’re not chasing symptoms)
  • Action-oriented guidance for lifestyle and nutrition, and targeted support where clinically appropriate
  • A framework that complements TRT decision-making and supports long-term health optimisation
